‘A Knighttime Musical’ coming to Helen Keller Middle School

Students in the seventh and eighth grades at Helen Keller Middle School are preparing for three winter performances (two evening and one Saturday matinee) of A Knighttime Musical, a show that promises to be a music-filled event for the whole family.
An original musical written by Diana Canova and Kathy Weiss, the plot of A Knighttime Musical is based on a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, “The Twelve Dancing Princesses.”
The students, directed by Ms. Canova, have been rehearsing since early December. The play will be held in the Samuel Staples Elementary School Cafetorium on Friday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
All tickets are general admission and cost $15 each. Seating is limited. For tickets, please contact Angie DiStefano at angadis@aol.com.
