Lillian (Libby) Fleischer, 86

Lillian (Libby) Fleischer, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her home in Easton. Mrs. Fleischer was born in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Max and Ethel Zouderer, and was a longtime member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom.
Mrs. Fleischer is survived by her beloved husband Irving Fleischer, devoted children, Janis Bufferd, Michael Fleischer and his wife Judi, sister Shirly Prussin, adored grandchildren, Stacey Thomas and her husband Chris, Hollis Bufferd, Wendy McConaghy and her husband JJ, Allison Fleischer, Jennifer Fleischer, Sarah Fleischer, cherished great-grand children Ryan Thomas, Spencer Thomas, and Connor Thomas, and several nieces and nephews.
Libby’s family extends a special thanks to her dedicated caregivers Mary, Patty, and Bernadette. Mrs. Fleischer was predeceased by her brother Herman Zouderer, sister Hilda Silverman, sister Sue Fisher, and son in law Warren Bufferd. Services will take place on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM from The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road in Fairfield, with interment following at Rodeph Sholom Memorial Park on Kings Highway in Fairfield.
Memorial Contributions may be made to The University of Bridgeport’s IDEAL Program in memory of Melissa Rainville or the Alzheimer’s Association.
