Rudolph Pesce, 85: Army veteran, engineer, musician

Rudolph Pesce, age 85, of Trumbull, passed away January 18, 2013. Mr. Pesce was born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. and was a longtime Florida resident before moving to Trumbull in 2006.

He was a retired engineer for Unity Electric and spent his life performing as a singer and musician. Rudy played with bands such as Louie Prima, Ted Straeter, and Steven Scott Entertainment, and played at venues such as The Capitol Theater and Roseland Ballroom in NY. Mr. Pesce was also a WWII army veteran and played in the 388th Army Dance Band.

He was married twenty-five wonderful years to Phyllis Pesce who he loved dearly and who passed away in 2001. He is survived by his devoted daughter Elissa Capetanakis and her husband John and cherished grandsons Sam (11) and Noah (6) of Easton; his stepson Thomas of N.Y.; his brothers Roy and his wife Ruth and Anthony and his wife Catherine all of N.Y.

Friends may greet the family on Friday from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., and are invited to stay for the memorial service commencing at 1:00 p.m.. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd Trumbull, CT.
