Police await court order to return $377,000 to Dawid family

Police seized $377,000 from a gun safe they found at the 465 North Park Ave. home of Cory Dawid, 42, while they were investigating the scene for evidence under an active search warrant.

Vandals spray paint swastickas, SS and f-word in Easton

Easton police are seeking the help of the public in locating the vandals who spray painted swastikas and other hateful messages on trees, rocks, signs, and a utility pole on Eden Hill and North Street. The site borders Redding and Newtown, and some of the graffiti, which also included the f-word and SS, was found on property in those neighboring towns.
